Aom finally finds out that she is homeless and the end of the episode sees everyone finally back in Thailand!
Aom is frantically looking for Guy’s business card in her purse. She finally finds it and call him, but is unable to reach him. She again tries to contact Oom but ends up leaving a voice mail telling her that the cost of a 3 night stay is 30,000 baht (~$900). Where can she find that kind of money??!!!!
After roaming around the city, she has the idea of asking Mike for the money. She sneaks into his room when room service delivers his food. Mike sees her while he’s on the phone and is left speechless (I would seriously scream so loudly and call the cops). He continues his conversation and after he’s finally done, he tries to kick her out thinking that she’s a crazy fan girl in love with him (That sasaeng life).
Aom interrupts him and lets him know that he is definitely not her type . She then proceeds by asking him for $$$ saying that they are all Thai and that they should help each other (shameless much). Mike bursts into laughter and then gets frantic. He goes into a rant and details all the crazy things fans asks him to do: dancing, taking his sunglasses off for pictures, randomly asking him to sing a song, etc. The conversation goes no where and he ends up picking her up and throwing her outside.
She resists but without prevailing. She keeps knocking on the door insisting on returning his shirt (The one that was full of vomit in the airplane…). He opens the door, takes the shirt, and shuts the door in her face.
Her last resort…: using Guy! She goes back to Mike’s room and pretends that Guy was the one that put her in this awkward financial situation. He said he loved her and convinced her to come on this trip and now he disappeared. She has no one to turn too now. Mike is annoyed. I don’t think he believes her but just to get rid of her he gives her money.
She leaves and promises to make good use of the money Instead of saving that money, she uses it to enjoy the rest of her trip.
Once back in Thailand, she finds out that she has no furniture left except a sofa. Her books are all over the floor and Oom is no where to be seen.
She goes to Pao’s office and she learns that Pao left with his wife, who is pregnant, after winning a large sum of money. Double shock for Aom: Oom is pregnant and they left town! She is heartbroken and heads back home.
The next morning she is awoken by the real estate agent and his team. He explains to her that the house has been sold and that she needs TO LEAVE. The only thing he can do is let her stay for a short while – a week max – but that’s about it. She tries to resist when the movers take away what is left, including her dad’s piano (I can’t tell you how much I hate Oom – so irresponsible and ungrateful ughhhh. Aom please start looking for a new house! Ooopps nevermind if you do that the drama will be over and Mike is coming to the rescue :-D).
Aom also loses a writing project because she has been late in delivering it (Dear Mister Editor: she is about to be homeless. She has other things on her mind!). The real estate agent drops by and it’s a game of hide and seek. Luckily he doesn’t see her.
Mike goes to see Min at her store with flowers. At first she ignores him and then act like she is too busy to go eat with him (That girl is playing mind games! She is going to regret it pretty soon), but when Guy calls her that’s another story. She acts all sweet and immediately agrees to eat with him: Mike’s jealousy is spelled on his face.
Mike is also invited to the dinner, which makes Min unhappy. Her romantic date plans are totally ruined.
The next day, Min calls Mike and begs him to stop at her store. She tries a new vest on him. It looks ok on him, but wouldn’t fit Guy… Poor Mike. She tells him that she wanted to give this to Guy at dinner that night, but probably not. Min adds that she will texts him the address of the restaurant later (I have a feeling that she won’t. She wants time alone with Guy…)
Mike sits in his car depressed about the all Min-Guy situation. He thinks back about what Aom said: that she will sue Guy for lying him to her, etc. That wicked smile he has next predicts nothing but trouble (Aom that’s why you shouldn’t have lied!).
He uses the picture of her ID she left as a guarantee for the money. Her sun bathing next to the water is interrupted (I don’t understand how she can be so relax when she is about to be homeless!!!)
So glad that they are all finally back in Thailand. One because I was getting sick of all the touristic advertisement. Second because the time for our two main leads to start living together is getting closer!
The way Min treats Mike breaks my heart. He is head over heels for her, which she knows and uses against him. She loves the attention and is definitely taking him for a fool. Min thinks that Mike will always be there, which the PD perfectly captures. When he goes to her store with the flower, she keeps ignoring him, but he keeps following her. This was the perfect analogy to their relationship. Either way she will most likely regret her behavior maybe because Mike will start ignoring her soon, or maybe because both Mike and Guy will start ignoring her. I also don’t like the fact that Mike is trying to use Aom to create havoc between Guy and Min. He wants them apart and his jealousy is understandable but he shouldn’t get other people involved. Aom lied and is partly guilty for what’s coming to her but still. Mike needs to have a serious conversation with Min and deal with his feelings – basically step up his game or stay put. This is the perfect ending for me: Mike and Min together and Aom and Guy together. I know this isn’t likely to happen but it will make everyone happy. I don’t want Guy to stay single. Seriously how sad will that be? Can the second lead get a moment of glory for once??
