A painful walk down memory lane as both of our characters think about what their relationship could have been if they had met sooner or if other people weren’t involved.
Shi Hoon and Eun Chae both see something that they weren’t supposed to. Eun Chae sees Ji Yeon and Dong Ha kissing when she goes to give Ji Yeon her cellphone. Soo Chul, who closely followed her, urges her to keep silent. And Shi Hoon sees Ji Yeon helping a drunk Dong Ha in his apartment.
The next morning Soo Chul confronts Dong Ha and Ji Yeon: He saw both of them kissing! That doesn’t make Ji Yeon feel better since she was already thinking about it a little too much…
Shi Hoon picks up the engagement ring that he personally designed. He then picks up Ji Yeon for their date. Ji Yeon later tells him the truth – minus the kiss. She didn’t pick up his phone calls last night because she had to take care of Dong Ha. Shi Hoon doesn’t say anything but throughout the performance, he glances at Ji Yeon with a worried look. Later the couple takes a look a different houses and apartments; Shi Hoon is planning their wedding, lives together, etc. (Looks like Ji Yeon isn’t thinking about it that much -___-).
Ji Yeon’s mother drops by her daughter’s apartment and sees Dong Ha outside. She immediately drags him to Na Rae’s restaurant for a meal. The meal between both isn’t a happy one – rather sad and awkward. Dong Ha learns that Ji Yeon is getting married soon. Ji Yeon’s mother doesn’t want the couple to waste any more time. It’s still hard to forgive Shi Hoon, but there is nothing to do since both want to be together so much. Plus Shi Hoon couldn’t make it because he was injured. The mother adds that she would have loved Dong Ha as a son in law. She really wished that Ji Yeon and him would work out…
Dong Ha sadly, but honestly confesses that he really likes Ji Yeon. The mother is shocked while Na Rae and her husband awkwardly stand there. The mother doesn’t understand what Dong Ha sees in Ji Yeon since she is older and has a horrible temper…
Ji Yeon gets a new assistant and a promotion (Thankful for the promotion, but not for the new assistant. He needs to go ASAP…So obnoxious and ignorant).
The romance between Ji Yeon’s mother and Trouble Maker’s boss is getting serious. Both are falling more and more for the other. The boss is taking care of the plant given to him by Ji Yeon’s mother, which she doesn’t fail to notice. The mother even gets the courage to text him and ask him out for dinner (WAAAAAAA I love this ahjummah-ahjussi romance. They are so old fashioned and cute ~).
Dong Ha senses that Soo Chul has a new target but still hasn’t realized that it’s Eun Chae. He catches that Soo Chul is wearing his best jacket and cologne (The one to catch women LOL). It turns out that Soo Chul was planning to hang out with Eun Chae. While walking Eun Chae back to her house, they meet her mother. Eun Chae tries to introduce Soo Chul as a friend of Yong Chae and Dong Ha, but Soo Chul quickly interrupts her making sure that Dong Ha isn’t mentioned. When Soo Chul leaves, the mother says that there must be something between her daughter and him (Bingo!)
Ji Yeon explains to Na Rae all those amazing and romantic things Shi Hoon has been doing (Yet, something is off). Ji Yeon gets really drunk and Na Rae is forced to call a cab since Ji Yeon doesn’t want Shi Hoon to see the drunken her. Everything would have been so much more simple if Ji Yeon could have contained her liquor (Well, we all know that’s not her thing 😀). She ends up remembering the code of Soo Chul and Dong Ha’s apartment… She walks in like she has always been living there even asking why Soo Chul isn’t back yet :-D. Dong Ha is shocked, but understands that she is drunk. He lets her sleep and even makes sure that she is comfortable (Dawwwwww so cute ~).
What’s funniest is Soo Chul’s reaction when he sees a woman’s shoes when he walks in. He seems to be proud of Dong Ha for making moves, but is bubble is quickly bursted when he learns that the shoes are Ji Yeon.
Ji Yeon dreams that she is tightly hugged by Dong Ha when she wakes up. Well it’s only a dream. She is waken up by Dong Ha, who is screaming to the top of his lungs. Ji Yeon is flustered when she realizes what happened and hurries outside. Poor Dong Ha runs after her while giving her a lesson about her drinking habits. Oooopppps and guess who they run into?! Dear Shi Hoon… (O__O)
Confession time: Ji Yeon is forced to explain to Shi Hoon that Dong Ha, Soo Chul and her lived together at some point. Her house needed some remodeling. Well that doesn’t explain why she was there last night… Oh, yes she was drunk yesterday (The worry in Shi Hoon’s eyes. Kind of feel bad for him 😦). Shi Hoon doesn’t understand what’s bothering her. Why did she need to drink so much? Meanwhile Dong Ha tries to rationalize when he is disturbed by a stripping Soo Chull (Gotta love him ~).
Shi Hoon later confronts Dong Ha; he specifically makes a trip to the apartment to have that man conversation. (Welllllllll OK…)
Shi Hoon: “I am marrying Ji Yeon.”
Dong Ha: “I know. Is that it?”
Shi Hoon: “I want to warn you. I don’t Ji Yeon to be concerned over you anymore. Her problems are mine as well.”
Anyhow it seems that Ji Yeon and Dong Ha have a hard time avoiding each other. Dong Ha runs an errand at the spa where Ji Yeon and Na Rae are. The party wouldn’t be complete without Shi Hoon stopping by too. Ji Yeon panics and drags Dong Ha in a room. Dong Ha doesn’t understand why they have to hide. They haven’t done anything wrong. Ji Yeon claims that she wants to avoid misunderstandings (Yeah right -___-). Dong Ha gets annoyed and asks if she is scared that he would kiss her again. Yes, he remembers it. What man would forgot kissing a woman he loves? Ji Yeon tries to leave but Dong Ha grabs her and leans in closer.
The kiss doesn’t happen thanks to Dong Ha’s conscience. The good thing is that it helped shake Ji Yeon. She admits to Na Rae that something is off. Na Rae tells her to take a careful look at her heart. That’s the night when Ji Yeon finds the book that Dong Ha left for her. She was trying to find a book Yong Shik needed to prepare an interview. Seeing the book triggers something in Ji Yeon and she rushes to Dong Ha’s…
I am a little annoyed by Ji Yeon. She choose to be with Shi Hoon and her being indecisive is making a lot of people suffer. I understand that the choice is hard, but I feel so bad for Dong Ha. Plus, deep down she knows how she feels. Dong Ha asked her if she felt guilty around him. The answer is most likely YES! Every time she is around Dong Ha, she feels bad because she notices her feelings.
Ji Yeon is not the only one noticing her feelings for Dong Ha. Shi Hoon never truly felt threatened by Dong Ha, but it seems like that’s changing. He felt the need to personally warn Dong Ha… That warning was more a way to put distance between Ji Yeon and Dong Ha.
Eun Chae has clearly more feelings for Soo Chul than she realizes herself. They spend a lot of time together and she even trusts him enough to discuss her feelings for Dong Ha with him even if it’s briefly. I want to see more of this couple; they are so adorable!
