Hormones 2 (วัยว้าวุ่น ) Episode 5

Phu keeps texting Toei without answer: “I can’t stop thinking about you” or “I am sorry”. He knows that she sees the messages (Facebook messaging), and that she just doesn’t want to reply. To make things worst, Thee’s absence is felt too.

Phu ends up going to Toei’s house at night. When Toei opens the gate, he apologizes for showing up like this. He then starts apologizing. He shouldn’t have made a big deal of her friendship with Tar. The more Phu keeps talking, the more Toei looks crestfallen. With tears in her eyes, Toei tells Phu that certain things can’t change. He keeps begging her, but she tells him they should break up. Toei then closes the gate and leaves him outside begging.

Hormones 2 (วัยว้าวุ่น) Episode 4

It starts where we left off last week. Mhog calls Win’s name. He is genuinely happy to see Win and invites him inside. In Mhog’s room, Win notices several pictures. All the faces are familiar. He especially stares at Kwan’s picture. Win and Mhog catch up. Win was sent abroad by his father and now he is planning on returning to school. Mhog asks if it’s a good idea. Win answers yes. What Win is worried about is if Tar is still mad at him.

Hormones 2 (วัยว้าวุ่น) Episode 2

Screen Shot 2014-08-02 at 10.00.34 PM

This episode focuses a lot on Thee dealing with his feelings – from him trying to let go to him giving it one last shot.

Thee does his best to move on. He painfully likes the relationship status on Facebook and looks at memories of Phu and him. He takes down a picture of them, but is unable to throw it away.

Hormones 2 (วัยว้าวุ่น ) Episode 1

Screen-Shot-2014-06-09-at-7.09.53-PM

Promiscuous Romance is the talk of the town. It’s a lakorn portraying the behaviors of teenagers when it comes to sex. We get a glimpse of the lakorn within the first few minutes of the episode – a drama within a drama. Two teenagers – Pat and Ken – meet in the back of a taxi cab and things get heated pretty quickly. Pat convinces Ken that no one will know about what’s going on between them, especially his girlfriend Min. Plus if he is going to be as stiff as a plank of wood he should have no come. Ken quickly gets in the mood… Promiscuous Romance reminds me a lot of Hormones. I am sure the director of Hormones is trying to send us a message.

The episode with Pat and Ken in the taxi cab is being discussed by everyone at school in the following days.  Tar walks in school and notices that everyone is talking about the show. He walks toward Mhog, and asks him about the show. Is it that good? Mhog confirms that yes it is. He’s been watching it too. Mhog then asks him how his new song is coming along. Tar says nothing much so far. One of Tar’s bandmate is out of town so it’s been hard to coordinate. Tar then spots Pop, one of his friend, with a girl. If I am not mistaken, Pop is the one always doing the little podcasts and news videos at school. Or is it someone else? Anyway, Tar explains that Pop gave him a fake rendez vous and now he is flirting with a girl. Tar and Mhog walk toward Pop and the girl.

Hormones: The Series (Season 1)

Hormones follows the lives of several high schoolers. It can be considered the Thai version of Skins. The second season is coming out this summer. I have heard end of June from several sources. I am not sure that anyone will be subbing season 2, but hopefully someone will 🙂
