Sanaeha Sunya Kaen: Another slap kiss lakorn on my radar

I am hooked. Let’s start off by making it clear :-D.

Plot 

Kin marries his long time girlfriend Ganok, but on their wedding night she gets in an accident.

Ganok dies due to the accident and Kin vows to take revenge on the other person involved in the accident – Tawan. Three years later, Kin gets a chance to put in effect his revenge. Daeun, Tawan’s younger sister, applies for a position at Kin’s corporation and as the president he immediately hires her. Thanks to Daeun, Kin gets to meet Tawan and he immediately does his best to hire Tawan as a personal nurse for his younger sibling Nod. Nod is paralyzed and is going through physical therapy. Kin even makes sure to make Tawan sign a contract: If she resigns before Nod walks, or before a certain period of time (I am not exactly sure what are the clauses of the contract) she would have to pay.

Tawan is happily welcomed in Kin’s family as everyone sees her as the person who could heal Kin’s heart and improve Nod’s condition. Kin’s two brothers – Nahk and Akk – are also attracted to Tawan. Nahk, the player of the family, is only physically attracted. Plus, he also has something going on with Tawan’s sister Daeun. Meanwhile Akk seems to be developing deeper feelings and interest in Tawan, especially when he suspects that Kin might be mistreating Tawan. Let’s also add that Tawan’s friend Pink is interested in Akk. This is not even a love triangle anymore :-D. It’s more confusing than that…

 Dome’s Acting

Dome’s acting is not amazing, but I think it improved from Tawan Tor Saeng. Back then, Dome’s acting was just passable. My only problem with his acting is the fact that some of his expressions look vampiresque. Sort of like in Ruk Mai Mee Wun Tay :-D.

Every time Kin looks at Tawan , I feel like he is going to suck her blood. Anyway, I have to admit that Dome’s handsome looks help forget about his acting. Plus we have Janie and no matter what role she plays she always does a great job.

Tawan’s Character

After reading comments online, I saw many viewers complain about Tawan’s weakness, which is almost doormat level.Well although it is annoying I think that’s the way the director of the drama wants it to be. Seeing where the drama is headed, it makes sense. Tawan is a nurse and that most likely indicates that she is a caring and loving person. As a nurse, she spends a lot of time taking care of people and that requires a lot of patience and understanding. Let’s add that Tawan’s parents passed away when she was really young. She only has her younger sister and a few friends. I hope that she has more than one friend but so far we’ve only met her adorable friend Pink! We can infer that the nang’ek is missing some love in her life. Plus her past relationship was a major failure since the man ended up cheating on her with a totally crazy woman to that. In summary let’s say that: Caring, loving, inexperienced, hurt, and trustworthy Tawan MEETS seductive, deceitful, wicked, and vengeful Kin. There is no match. Kin seems to be a pro at sending mixed signals to Tawan. The latter is confused but can’t resist Kin’s charm.

Sweet and confused Tawan VS Psycho Kin

I just finished watching episode 5 and Kin is already feeling guilty.

Well, deep down he knows that he has no right to take revenge on Tawan. Kin is even already looking for excuses and reassurances. Let’s face it though, the logic of his revenge is ridiculous. Tawan was the pedestrian at the time of the accident and Ganok was the one driving. In my opinion and from what I have seen in the first episode, Ganok wasn’t the best driver… Who in their right mind drives fast while talking on the phone, or not paying attention to the road?! It seems like Ganok did -___-. One more thing: Is Ganok really dead?! I have watched many teasers and the MV of the drama and it seems like she might make a comeback. Or is it Ganok’s doppelganger?

I want to add that there is so much skinship in this drama. Kind of surprised, but not unhappy!

Family Dynamic

I love Kin’s family, especially the mother. I love her bubbliness and her incessant worrying for her children. The mother is nosy, but not too much. Unlike all the other evil mothers in Dramaland, she is focused on her children’s happiness. Besides, having such a large family provides the director with a chance to give each family member their own love line. Nahk and Daeun? Akk and Pink? I would love to know which pair you guys prefer. So far, I can’t pick. Plus Nod also has a boyfriend or fiance that we haven’t seen yet :-D.

A Character That Needs To Go Away… 

I can’t stand Kin’s secretary. She is acting like his wife. Can she get a life? Also why does she keep abusing Daeun?! I am scared that she is going to seriously hurt Daeun at some point. Plus what if she finds out about Kin and Tawan?! She will definitely go crazy… Not like Tawan needs to mistreated by someone else. The poor nang’ek has so many people going after her already – Kin, her ex-boyfriend’s girl, etc.
