Mike takes care of Aom by feeding her food, medicine, and wiping her forehead, etc (You can tell that he is worried). We find out that he is also looking for a housekeeper. When he finally leaves for work, Aom – who is not sick anymore – quickly eats the food Mike cooked for her. She also proceeds to do some massive cleaning.
Guy reaches out to Mike and asks him to promote the launch of his new company. He also calls Min and asks her to attend the event; they also make plans to meet for dinner the same day.
At the restaurant Min waits for Guy in vain. While waiting at the restaurant Min receives a call from Mike. They schedule a dinner the next day; he has something to tell her.
Min calls Guy’s office and finds out that he is still in a meeting. She decides to personally deliver some food to his office. All the employees are excited about the free dinner and misunderstood Min for Guy’s girlfriend, which he quickly clarifies.
Back at the house, Mike discovers that Aom is not sick anymore. The makeup on her face gives her away; Aom is also wearing clean clothes and the house is neat. At first, Mike is furious but he decides to keep her and use her instead of hiring a housekeeper: 3 meals all day, all the housework, etc.
They start bargaining over the pay. Mike complains that he already provides housing and food. Each month, 5000 baht will be deducted from her salary. Aom asks to sign a contract so she has a some sort of proof especially since she is a woman. Mike retorts that she is definitely not his type (That’s what they all say).
The next day when Aom starts she is confused by the amount of things requested by Mike (Doesn’t know what protein is and is most likely to mess up Mike’s diet).
Mike goes to buy a ring for Min and thinks about ways to declare his love. Nothing seems to satisfy him (Honestly all the lines he tried were cheesy) .
Guy comes to the store and Min makes plans to have dinner with Guy – ditching Mike. Meanwhile Mike is sitting at the restaurant waiting. One of the waitress alerts a paparazzi – telling her that Mike is waiting for someone at the restaurant.
Mike keeps contacting Min but she ignores his calls and messages. Mike finally leaves the restaurant disappointed and the paparazzi doesn’t get a chance to her scoop. At home, Mike picks a fight with Aom because she left his family picture on his desk. He asks her not to meddle. He also throws all her books from the staircase (No need to take your anger on Aom…)
Min and Guy’s dinner turns sour when she implies her feelings for Guy. Guy has been trying to make her see all the positive in Mike, but she remains stubborn and says that she is not like those other girls who fangirl over Mike. She likes someone else… someone like him… He tells her that’s great but that she will never be more than a sister for him. He doesn’t think of her as a woman (That hurts). The girl sitting at the table next to them has been eyeing them all along and seems way too involved (So nosy).
Min excuses herself and goes to the restroom in order to compose herself. When she gets back Guy is gone, the girl at the table next to them is gone too… (That’s what you get for picking Guy over Mike).
She gets in her car and literally breaks down. She calls Mike. He is not even mad at her but directly worries about her: why is she crying?
Min apologizes and tell him that she is sorry for standing him up and also for hurting him (I knew it! She knows that he likes her, she just doesn’t care!). Min thanks him for being there for her to which he replies that no matter what happens he will always be that person that will always be there. She wants to make it up by having another dinner.
After hanging up, Mike takes the ring and starts practicing his confession. His rehearsal is stopped by Aom’s bursting out in laughter. She teases him and asks him what lakorn is rehearsing for. Embarrassed he doesn’t tell her that this is not a for TV lakorn (But more for like the lakorn of his life). Aom ends up giving him advice after Mike explains the plot without giving any names or other specifics.
Aom asks if Min is blind – if she isn’t of course she knows about Mike’s feelings (Thank you Aom for saying what I’ve been screaming at the screen all along). Aom tells him to just be upfront now: confess and then grab her for a kiss.Mike is so gullible and Aom makes fun of him – telling him that if he kisses her he would be slapped for sure. Although he drinks juices of five different colors he is not that smart Aom says.
Next morning, Mike complains about his breakfast and ask for another platter. While he’s waiting, he grabs the newspaper and something on the front page angers him. He leaves in a hurry even knocking off a chair.
Aom grabs the food and gladly eats it. She also sees the newspaper frontpage: Super star stood up on a date (accompanied by a picture of Mike).
Pao and Oom also read the news about Mike and realize that it’s the same celebrity who bought the house. Oom worries (Too late for that) and wonders how Aom is doing. Pao asks her to think of their baby and not to stress out. Once they get settled, they will invite Aom to come live with them (Pao needs to have realistic dreams ughhh).
Aom submits a new script to her editor and is asked to make small changes. This script is a lot better than the last one, but it’s still lacking a little something.
Reporters keep pestering Mike and asking questions about the date. His excuse: it was a surprise for his mother and family (So lame).
His date with Min gets cancelled; he needs to be wary because of the scandal. Min suggests that they eat at her store. When Mike gets there, he is just about to confess when they are interrupted by the delivery of a balloon toy (at the same time, two reporters – disguised as customers – are discreetly taking pictures of them). The toy has a card with it; it’s from Guy.
Mike asks who is it from and she replies someone who never cared about me. He grabs the card – an apology card for abandoning Min at the restaurant.
She asks out loud: Why do I have to care for someone who doesn’t care about me? Mike answers: stupidity. The stupidity of loving someone who doesn’t love you back and never pays attention to you. He tells her that he is stupid and that they are in fact both stupid and then leaves.
Min sits confused while Mike drives back.
Comments:
Min and Mike both need to wake up. Seriously they both have been liking someone that doesn’t reciprocate. I feel the most for Mike because he’s been there all along for Min and his patience is rightfully wearing thin. Sometimes I get really confused: does she know or not know about his feelings? I feel like she knows but she has been in denial. Min thinks that she is so in love with Guy – maybe she is – that she can’t pay attention to anything else.
Also OMG the moves that Guy pulled in this episode left me speechless. The second male lead is always portrayed as flawless, but not here. He flirts with the restaurant girl as soon as Min leave and it’s not sure if he did that to just get rid of Min and make her understand that there will be nothing between them, or was he interested in flirting with that girl? Or both? Anyhow, I still like him lol. I feel like any guy would do the same thing and it just makes Guy’s character more realistic.
Something else that jumped to my attention is Mike’s family picture. Why did he get so upset when Aom put the picture in his room? What’s his relation with his family?
